Romania will host the Transylvania Horse Show international event next week-end, bringing 80 competitors from 15 countries to the village of Prod, 16 kilometers from Sighisoara, in Central Romania.

The event will include two international equestrian competitions and a series of demonstrations and shows, and will start on May 18.

The International Complete Competition will bring together professional eventing riders to compete in dressage, cross-country and show-jumping. Another competition gathers young riders from 15 countries, who will compete in dressage and show-jumping for the Student Riders Nations Cup. The gallop show will bring demonstrations of riding acrobatic skills, daring stunts and horseback archery carried out by professional stunt men and their horses. For the full schedule, go here.

A workshop on dressage will also be organized by actor Denis Stefan, under the program 'Romania's horses', on Friday, May 18. The horseback shows are scheduled for Saturday, from 12,30.
