CEZ Vanzare aims to sell more electricity this year in Romania, to reach EUR 325 mln turnover

Electricity supplier CEZ Vanzare recorded a turnover of EUR 318 million last year in Romania, almost flat compared to 2010. But this year, it hopes to sell a bit more, targeting EUR 325 million in turnover, or a 4 percent increase on 2011.
CEZ Vanzare controls 14 percent of the regulated market in Romania – which includes domestic consumers and some companies that still get tariffs fixed by the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE).
On the competitive market segment, the company has a 3 percent market share, according to ANRE data.
Romanians used 3.3 percent more electricity in 2011 than the year before, some 53 TWh.
