Chinese prime minister to attend Economic and Trade Forum in Romania this November

Chinese prime minister Li Keqiang will make an official visit to Romania at the end of November. During the visit, he will attend the China-Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) leaders' meeting as a guest of Romanian prime minister Victor Ponta, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Guang, quoted by Xinhua news agency.

Li Keqiang will meet and discuss with Romanian leaders and plan with them future cooperation between the two countries, in order to promote a healthy and stable development of bilateral relations.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, the visit will take place between November 25 and November 29, when Li Keqiang also has scheduled a visit to Uzbekistan.

The Economic and Trade Forum China - Central and Eastern European Countries is a one-day event organized on November 26 at Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.

Around 1,000 business representatives of the private, public and state sectors will attend the event. They will represent China and Central-European countries, namely Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Albania, Latvia, Lithuania, and Republic of Macedonia.
