A Christmas Fair has been opened at the Brancovenesc Palace (Palatul Brancovenesc) in Mogosoaia, close to Bucharest. The fair, called Targul Brancovenilor, features stands selling traditional products and gifts, food and beverages, as well as a park and playground, an ice rink and a Disney Palace – a good place to take your kids if you're spending a few days in Bucharest during the winter holidays.

More about the fair here. The fair is opened every day from 11,30 until midnight. Details on how to get to Mogosoaia by car here. A free bus line is also available from Victoriei Square - at the metro exit towards Aviatorilor boulevard. It runs every hour, until January 15.
