29 March 2011

The Cervantes Institute in Bucharest will organize a series of film screenings, part of the program “Cine en construccion”, between April 8-10. The screenings will be held at the Cinema Studio (29 Magheru Boulevard, Bucharest). This year’s movie selection includes two Argentinian films (“Por sus propios ojos”- trailer below and “El asaltante”), one Guatemalan (“Gasolina”), one Mexican (“Aurora Boreal”) and a Spanish-Mexican co-production (“El árbol”). The director of the film “El árbol”, Carlos Serrano Azcona, will also attend the opening of the film series.

Tickets can be purchased from the cinema for RON 10 (full price) or for RON 28, which includes the cost of all four screenings. “Cine en construccion” is a project initiated by the San Sebastián Festival, aiming to promote productions and the debut of Latino-American experimental filmmakers.
