Coca-Cola’s sales volume in Romania, up by 15%
Coca-Cola sales in Romania rose by about 15% in the third quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2014.
The sales volume continues to grow strongly in Romania, due to the stable macroeconomic environment, reads the Coca-Cola HBC report. The VAT cut on food and non-alcoholic beverages also had a positive influence on the company’s sales.
Coca-Cola sales in the emerging markets, which include Romania, Nigeria and Ukraine, rose by 2.4% in the third quarter.
Despite the increase in volumes, the group’s revenues continue to be negatively affected by the exchange rate movements, reads the report.
