Romanian meteorologists recently issued yet another Code Yellow for fog in several counties, such as Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ialomiţa, Călăraşi, Brăila, Buzău, Prahova, Argeş, Ilfov and Bucharest. The code was also valid for the A1 and A2 highways, as well as European and national roads connecting to these highways. The fog allowed for visibility just under 200 meters, and in some areas, under 50 meters.

In the following days, meteorologists expect mixed precipitation and ice, until January 19.

The Romanian Police asked drivers to go at a speed of maximum 30 kilometers per hour on roads with ice and snow and have winter tires.
