Over 6,000 people are expected to take part in The Color Run Night Bucharest event, the organizers said. The race takes place on September 9, in the area of the National Library.

The runners are asked to come dressed in black. Throughout the race they will be covered with fluorescent powder and foam.

Access to the event area opens at 18:00 and the first start will be given at 19:30. There will be several successive starts, every 4 to 5 minutes, and by 19:55 all runners will have begun the race.

The first colored powder cloud will be released at 21:30, and the following one at 22:00.

The race is expected to finish with a dance, in the area of the National Library.

Because of the race, the traffic will be restricted in the start and finish area, on the Unirii Blvd., between the Unirea Shopping Center and the Alba Iulia round, between 17:30 and 22:30.

The event supports several social causes and part of the participation taxes will go towards them.

Four editions of the Color Run Night have been organized so far, gathering 18,000 participants.
