Commuters in large Romanian city get free surfing while on the bus
The management of the public transport company in a Romanian regional city has decided to introduce free wireless internet on its buses after it noticed the majority of commuters use their mobile phones to surf the internet while on the bus.
The public transport company in the Romanian seaside city of Constanta will introduce free wireless connections on its buses from March 25, after having partially bartered for the service. The company agreed to pay EUR 400 a month to have free wireless internet in all of its buses.
The project is ongoing, but its implementation will not increase the price of bus tickets in the city, the public transport company representatives have said.
