Bikers have reason to rejoice. Bike Fest 2012 will be held this week-end on September 29, 30 in Izvor Park, Bucharest, and this year's event includes a host of activities, competitions and prizes for bicycle enthusiasts.

On the menu are the Penthalon,  a five-event competition for amateur cyclists, World Class Fall Kick Off and Femeia pe bicicleta (Women on bikes).

At the Bike Fest, the ROI Association will organize an area dedicated to children. Kids can learn about road safety, draw on the asphalt and ride with bicycles and tricycles.

Also, photo enthusiasts are invited to watch the event and participate in a photography competition via Facebook.
