Construction works, up by 10% in Romania in the first nine months
The construction work volume in Romania increased by 4.4% in September compared to the same month of last year. In the first nine months of this year, construction works were 10% higher, as a gross series.
The adjusted growth, which takes into account the number of working days and seasonality, was 4% in September and 10.5% in the first nine months.
Capital repairs and current repairs have had the highest growth rates in the first nine months, of 16% and 13.2% respectively (in gross terms). New constructions only went up by 7.6%.
In terms of use, engineering works went up the most, by 15.6%, compared to the first nine months of 2014. The non-residential buildings segment grew by 5.2% while the residential segment was flat.
