Hypermarket chain cora has invested EUR 2 million to expand its store in the City Park shopping center in Constanta by almost 2,000 sqm.

cora City Park, which was opened five years ago, has now reached 6,000 sqm.

The retailer has also increased by 30% the number of its employees, and has expanded its parking lot from 700 places to 1,300.

cora has introduced its online shopping service to Constanta this month. The service was first available in Bucharest.

cora Romania is part of Belgian group Louis Delhaize. It has been active on the local market since 2003 and currently operates 11 hypermarkets in Bucharest and other large cities. The retailer had EUR 388 million sales in Romania, in 2015.
