The Coresi shopping mall in Brasov had over 4 million visitors in the first six months of activity, and the tenants’ sales exceeded EUR 25 million, without considering the sales of its anchor retailer Auchan.

Some 55% of the customers that visited the mall returned afterwards, said Tatian Diaconu, general director of Immochan Romania, the shopping center's’ developer. He added that the number of clients would increase as the cold season starts, which would also bring up the retailers’ sales, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The mall’s rental income should exceed EUR 6 million for the first year of activity, said Diaconu.

Coresi Shopping Resort has over 100 brands such as Starbucks, Swarovski, Zara, Douglas, Pizza Hut, Reserved and Massimo Dutti, 13 restaurants, 5 cafes, entertainment spaces, and 8 cinema halls.
