Corporate bonds on Romania's capital market worth EUR 449 mln
The corporate bonds listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange are worth EUR 449 million, which is a hefty amount, said Lucian Anghel, president of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
"I am looking forward with great interest to the government bonds issuing for the public next year. It's a premiere for BVB and the bonds will be released exclusively on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. We are experiencing a revolution of the capital market," said Anghel, cited by local Agerpres.
"I've already started a project that aims to identify what needs to be resolved to develop a bond market listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Within this project, one of the objectives is to develop municipal bonds," Anghel added.
