Croatian short gets DaKINO Trophy, two Romanians among winners

Two Romanians were among the winners of this year's DaKINO film festival in Romania.

The short film Someone May Drop a Cigarette Butt, directed by Croatian Josip Visković, won the DaKINO International Film festival in Bucharest over the last weekend.

Romanian Georgiana Constantin landed the prize for best script, for Dialoguri Terapeutice/Therapeutic Dialogues, directed by Andrei Georgescu.

Special jury prizes went to Inconspicuous by Barbara Medajska, and to Gagarin and Me, by Mihajlo Jevtic.

The prize for best directing went to Maria-Elsa Sgualdo, for the short film On the Beach, while the public prize was won by Romanian Ioachim Ciobanu for Grindcore.
