Former car maker GM: Romania needs predictability; I met four PMs in two years
Romania still has a lot of work to do to improve predictability, infrastructure and education, if it wants to attract new investors, said the former general manager of local car maker Dacia, Yves Caracatzanis, according to local Mediafax.
The former GM said he met four prime ministers in Romania in the last two years alone.
“Education is key, starting from professional schools, dual education and engineering programs. We cannot wait for everything to come from authorities, but we can collaborate with them,” said Caracatzanis, who left to Russia to lead AvtoVaz.
Antoine Doucerain is the new Dacia GM starting May 1.
