Romanian car maker Dacia sees 7.7% higher production in first ten months
Romanian car maker Dacia produced almost 281,000 units in the first ten months of this year, up by 7.7% compared to the same period of 2017, according to data from the Association of Romanian Car Manufacturers – ACAROM.
Dacia produced over 195,000 Duster SUVs in the first ten months. The Sandero model came next, with 38,300 units, followed by Logan – 28,000 units and Logan MCV – 18,900 units. In October, Dacia’s production accelerated by a third, to 38,300 units.
Dacia is the best-selling car brand in Romania. In the first ten months, Dacia sold over 31,200 new cars, up by 27% compared to the same period of 2017.
