Dacia sells car number 4 million from Mioveni car plant
Automobile Dacia, owned by French car maker Renault, has produced 4 million Dacia cars at the car plant in Mioveni, Romania. Dacia number 4.000.000 was delivered this week to its owner. The car is a Dacia Duster 4x4, Laureate version, cashew brown, with a 110 HP engine.
It took Automobile Dacia to produce and sell the first million Dacia cars from the MIoveni factory. The timeline for producing and selling one million cars decreased to three and a half years.
The first million Dacia cars threshold was reached in 1985, the two million in 1998, and the three million, in 2007. Half of the 65 cars made every hour at Mioveni are currently from the Duster series, which has totaled 100,000 orders internationally.
