Car market Daimler AG's shares will be available for Romanian investors on the Bucharest Stock Exchange platform starting November 23, without being actually listed on the BSE. The stock exchange has approved shares trading on the ATS alternative system. BCR will be market maker for the Daimler shares on the BSE. The Daimler AG shares will be traded by 30 participants, which have access to the ATS platform, according to the BSE.

This is the first time when the BSE allows investors to invest through its platform in shares which are not listed locally. Daimler AG shares are floating on the Deutsche Boerse and Boerse Stuttgart.  Daimler is among the biggest car makers in the world, best known for producing the Mercedes Benz brand. The group expects a profit of EUR 7 billion for 2010.
