Danone appoints Dieter Schulz as GM for Romania & region after Batoux moves to Coca-Cola
Dieter Schulz is the new general manager of dairy maker Danone for Central and Southern Europe, covering Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and the Adriatic countries. He will take over the helm of Danone Romania from Stephane Batoux, who moved to Cola – Cola Hellenic Romania earlier this year.
Schulz started his career in 1996 with Air Liquide Paris, then spent nine years with Mars, where he occupied different jobs, the latest being general manager for the Eastern Mediterranean division. He joined Danone in 2007, as GM for Malaysia and Singapore, leading its biscuits division, which was bought by Kraft Foods and integrated into Cadbury by 2010. He returned to Danone in May last year as GM for Bulgaria and Greece.
Earlier this year, Batoux left Danone Romania to take the helm of Coca-Cola Hellenic Romania & Moldova. He had worked with Danone Romania for the previous three years.
