NEPI Rockcastle, the biggest mall owner in Romania, has completed the EUR 2 mln refurbishment of its Braila Mall, a shopping center located in the eastern Romania city of Braila.

Some 7,000 sqm of the mall’s total leasable area of 52,500 sqm were revamped during the process.

Following the reconfiguration process, French sports equipment retailer Decathlon will open a 2,000 sqm store in Braila Mall.

The SMYK, Salofarm, Naturlich, Pepco and Animax shops were also modernized.

The mall’s tenants include international fashion brands H&M, Deichmann, C&A, CCC, New Yorker, Hervis, Sportisimo, Benvenuti, KIK, Stradivarius, Bershka, and Pull&Bear, as well as Carrefour, Kingfisher, Altex, and Cinema City.
