The Deftones rock band will throw a concert in Bucharest during the Alternative Summer Day event on August 13 this year at the Arenele Romane. The concert is part of the band's tour, promoting their latest album “Diamond Eyes”. The concert will also feature songs from older albums like “Around the fur”, “Adrenaline” or “White Pony”.

Tickets are on sale for RON 70 and can be purchased from Germanos, Orange, Vodafone, Domo and Flanco shops, Humanitas, Carturesti and Mihai Eminescu bookshops, Sala Palatului, Palatul Copiilor or on-line from www.eventim.ro, www.myticket.ro and www.biletoo.ro.  The event is produced by Alternative Music Experience, a collaboration between Bring The Noise Productions and King Size.

Deftones is an American alternative metal band from Sacramento, California, founded in 1989. The band consists of Chino Moreno (lead vocals and guitar), Stephen Carpenter(guitar), Chi Cheng (bass), Frank Delgado (keyboards), and Abe Cunningham(drums and percussion). They have released six albums to date, with two Platinum (“Adrenaline”, “White Pony”) and two Gold certifications (“Around the fur”, “Deftones”).
