Deutsche Bahn hires some 600 for Bucharest accounting center
German railway company Deutsche Bahn has opened an Accounting Center for Europe in Bucharest, which will hire 600 people.
The center, based in the Hermes Business Campus in northern Bucharest, will first employ 150 by year-end. The number will increase to 600 by 2018.
The rented area stretches over 2,000 sqm, but the company will expand it to 6,000 sqm.
The center will manage accounting activities for Deutsche Bahn's operations in 35 countries, outside Germany.
Deutsche Bahn is present in Romania through companies Schenker Romtrans and DB Schenker Rail Romania, controlled by its subsidiary DB Schenker.
