Three-day Dinosaur Festival in Romania this weekend
A new edition of the Dinosaurs’ Festival will be organized between July 14 and July 16 in several localities in the perimeter of Tara Hategului Dinosaur Geopark, Hunedoara county.
A life-size replica of sauropod dinosaur Magyarosaurus dacus, which is unique in the world, will be the star of this year’s edition of the festival. The dinosaur will travel to every commune in the Geopark territory, within the event called DinoCaravana, reports local Agerpres.
The Dinosaurs’ Festival will start on Friday, 10:00, in Copiilor Park in the town of Hateg, with workshops for children.
The event’s program will also include a fair that will bring together craftsmen from Tara Hategului. The fair, called DinoTargul, will be organized at the Recreation Center of the General Berthelot commune on Sunday, starting 14:00. The fair’s program will also include an exhibition of traditional products, workshops for children, traditional beauty workshops, and games and competitions based on skill, strength and imagination.
