Discounts and special menus at a host of Bucharest restaurants during Restaurant Week
Several restaurants in Bucharest joined a new culinary event called Restaurant Week, offering discounts and special menus between May 16 and 23. Over 34 restaurants in the Romanian capital will take part in the event organized by the association Romania Culinara (Culinary Romania).
The association was created by a group of Romanian chefs, foodies, marketing specialists and journalists and bloggers specializing in the food & bar industry, with an aim to help modernize the country’s culinary industry.
Founding members include Marius Tudosiei, 39, former journalist and currently owner of Bacania Veche, Cristi Roman, 35, journalist and food blogger, as well as professional chef currently in Ireland, Oana Conta, owner of the Bisto de L’Arte in Brasov, chef Cezar Munteanu, 25, Tiberiu Fueriu, 37, journalist, Laura Laurentiu, blogger, Ionut Oprea, 33, owner of marketing media agency Standout, chef Alexandru Razvan, 31, and chef Horia Simion, 32.
