An offroad competition will take place in Buzau, Romania starting September 8. The event will be hosted by TV producers Gary Humphrey and Bill Wu, who are also the hosts of a new TV show on Discovery, 'One car too far' (translated as '2 nebuni pe 4 roti'). The Discovery Offroad Trail is taking place in Sarata Monteoru, in Buzau, and will also mark the launch of the new TV show.

The new five part series follows former British Special Forces soldier Gary Humphrey and Southern California-based car fanatic and problem solver Bill Wu as they enter remote locations and work together to recover a four wheel drive vehicle that has been flown in and dropped into locations where no car has gone before.

The competition in Buzau is free to enter for all those passionate about four wheeled adventure.

Gary served for 17 years in the Royal Marines and the Special Forces. Throughout his time in the armed forces, Humphrey honed his survival skills from the Arctic, to jungles and deserts. Bill Wu is a life-long car fanatic, passionate about car collecting and racing.
