Dog owners in Romania’s Cluj-Napoca can take their pets on public transportantion
Dogs will be allowed to travel on any form of public transport in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, following a decision adopted on Wednesday, October 14, by the Cluj-Napoca City Council.
However, their owners will have to respect certain rules. For example, they will also have to buy tickets for their dogs, reports local Agerpres.
Other rules say that medium and large dogs must be muzzled and wear a leash, while small dogs have to wear a leash, or their owners have to keep them in a cage or in their arms. Also, the dog owner will have to choose a less crowded area while in the bus or the tram, as there has to be at least one meter between the dog and the other passengers. Dog owners should also avoid crowded public transport vehicles.
If dog owners don’t respect the regulation, the driver can ask them to leave the public transport vehicle.
