Romania's rapeseed crop next year could be compromised because of the drought, and the price of rapeseed could go up next year, according to Valeriu Tabara Romania's Agriculture Minister. The optimal period for planting the rapeseed is approaching an end and the Ministry is currently awaiting specialist advice on whether to recommend farmers to limit the quantity of rapeseed they plant this year.

Other crops could be affected by the drought, if it won't rain after October 2, Romanian prime Minister Emil Boc has recently said.
