Dutch real estate developer buys 20 hectares near Bucharest

10 December 2015

Dutch real estate developer CTP, which has become the largest owner of industrial-logistics spaces in Romania, recently bought 20 hectares of plot near Bucharest from the Italian group Cefin.

The value of the transaction hasn’t been disclosed, reports local Capital.ro.

The plot is part of the A1 Industrial Park and is located near the Pepsi warehouse, on the A1 highway.

Before the financial crisis started, Cefin had managed to buy huge plots of land for development on both sides of the A1 highway. Some of these plots later saw the development of Europolis Logistic Park and A1 Industrial Park.

In the first years of the economic crisis, Cefin went through a process of internal reorganization, and some of its projects and plots became the property of some of its partners.
