E.ON, Bayer and Deutsche Telekom shares soon available on Bucharest Stock Exchange
Investors on the Bucharest Stock Exchange will be able to buy and sell shares of German companies E.ON, Bayer and Deutsche Telekom on the local stock market, as Tradeville brokerage company has started the procedures to include these shares on the CAN alternative system.
The first stage in this process was to register the shares of these three companies in the RoClear system and in the Central Depository, so that local investors can get dividends from the three companies. Tradeville hasn't said when the actual trading with the three companies' shares will start.
E.ON is an utilities company with a market capitalization of over EUR 40 billion. Its shares are trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol E.ON AG. E.ON Romania runs activities on the natural gas and electricity segments. The German company controls E.ON Energie Romania, E.ON Gas Distribution and E.ON Moldova Distribution, along with E.ON Energie Regenerabila Romania.
Bayer is a pharmaceutical company with various operations in the chemical industry. It is also trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and it also runs activities in Romania.
Deutsche Telekom is a telecom company, also active in Romania. Its shares are traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (more details here). In Romania, it is mainly present through telecom company OTE.
