Easier for non-EU citizens to work in Romania

Non-EU citizens posted to Romania by companies registered in the European Union and Switzerland only need a residence permit in the country where the firm is registered to work in Romania. The permit should be valid for five years.
Until now, EU-based companies that posted non-EU employees to Romania had to get for them residence permits, work permits, and pay a EUR 200 tax, according to local profit.ro.
The Government approved new norms for foreigners who work in Romania via an emergency ordinance, on Wednesday, August 25.
