Photographers Davin Ellicson and Emese Benko will organize a five day documentary photography workshop in Valeni, in the Maramures area of Romania, during Easter, between April 13 to April 18, 2012. Davin lived for a year with a family in the area and returns to run a second workshop in the village. Emese, a native of Timisoara, will provide insights about Romanian culture.

The workshop fee is EUR 500, and students are responsible for their own transportation to Romania and up to Maramures, which is served by daily trains from Bucharest. The accommodation price amounts to some EUR 175.

The Orthodox Easter will be celebrated on April 15 this year in Romania.
