Transilvania Fest, the itinerant culture and food festival, will host educational projects that will bring essential information to teachers, non-profit organizations, small producers and other community representatives in Alba county, for their future activities.

The 2011 internship program offers Oxford Brookes’ students the opportunity to help develop practical skills while working in tourist areas. This year, the students' projects will include a study about the gastronomy in Transylvania, a study on the development of tourism opportunities in Blaj, and a study on sustainable development management of events.

Transilvania Fest, a traveling food and culture festival, will be held in Blaj, on the Freedom Plain (Campia Libertatii) between July 29 and 31. The festival aims to develop, organize and implement an event that would support community development (tourism and trade) in the Transylvania region. Find out more about this event here.
