Employees' union National Syndicate Block (BNS) plans to create information centers for foreign workers outside the EU who come to work in Romania, offering them advice about the labor legislation in the country, allowing them to sign up to unions and represent their interest in front of employers.

The project will cost EUR 500,000 from European funds and it will take two years to implement. The center will also provide foreign workers support in recovering their stolen or lost documents and any sort of support in finding legal jobs in Romania.

A recent report by BNR shows a Chinese immigrant pays on an average EUR 10,000 to secure a job in Romania.
