Enel X Way Romania, a subsidiary of Enel X Way, a company of the Enel Group dedicated to electric mobility, collaborates with retailer Penny to install a network of 64 charging stations for electric vehicles, representing a total of 128 charging points.

With a total installed power of 1,408 kW, 29 of these are already operational in 23 localities across the country.

Another 35 stations, located in the parking spaces of Penny stores in as many localities, are to become functional during this year.

"We continue to expand our e-mobility infrastructure in the context of a growing need from drivers of electric and hybrid vehicles to have such charging points in the vicinity of their residences or places they regularly visit. Partnerships with numerous retailers, such as the most recent with Penny, generate immediate benefits for those who have opted for electric mobility. At the same time, through such projects, Enel X Way Romania accelerates the transition to green mobility, with zero emissions, and to electrified transport", said Andrei Mihalciu, Enel X Way Romania Manager.
