Era Shopping Park Oradea has signed the contract with a new anchor and plans to open the shopping mall phase of the retail project this autumn. The developers, Omilos Group, have signed the lease with clothing retailer Sprider Stores, which will open a 850-sqm store in the shopping galleria. The new Sprider Stores unit will be opened mid-March.

“International retailers continue their expansion this year, but are extremely selective in choosing projects. Since we re-started works on the mall, the traffic and the sales in the shopping galleria have grown significantly,” said Graham Kilbane, CEO of Omilos Group.

The opening of the Sprider store is part of the first operational phase in the upcoming shopping mall. Upon completion, Era Shopping Park will have a leasable area of 62,500 sqm and anchors like Carrefour, Bricostore, Altex Megastore, Mobexpert and Cinema City.

Sprider Stores will reach 17 stores across Romania with this planned opening. Four of these stores are located in Bucharest.

Era Shopping Park Oradea is made of a shopping galleria of 7,500, with over 40 stores and anchors like Carrefour, Bricostore and Altex Megastore. The upcoming shopping mall should have 70 stores in total.
