Eric Stab becomes president & GM of GDF Suez Energy Romania
Eric Stab, the executive president of GDF Suez Energy Romania, has become president - general manager of the company, and will continue to supervise the markets of Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
GDF Suez Energy Romania's management council, led by Eric Stab, includes several other expats: Yvonnick David, VP Operations, Frederic Bellon – Acquisitions and Energy Services, Anne-Marie Gestin – Financial, Olivier Maigrot – strategy, development and electricity production, and Nicolas Richard -Portfolio Management.
The 42-year old Eric Stab joined Gaz de France in 1991, having held jobs in the German subsidiary of Gaz de France si in GASAG, the Berlin gas company. He was then promoted to manage gas sales in Europe, and led the UK subsidiary from 2004 to 2008, when he became head of activities for Eastern Europe. He came to Romania in 2010.
GDF Suez Energy Romania supplies natural gas and electricity. It has 1.4 million customers in Romania, where it runs a network of 17,000 km and serves the market with 4,000 employees.
