Euronews editorial director, Romanian Sarb becomes GeoPOL board member

Virtual thinktank GeoPOL appointed Romanian Lucian Sarb, editorial director of the Euronews TV network, as a member of its scientific board.

Lucian Sarb founded and coordinated the Money Channel TV station project in Romania from 2006. Before that, he led the news department in state-owned TV channel TVR. He joined Euronews in 2009 as editorial director of the European TV channel. He leads a team of 350 people in eight newsrooms. Sarb has over 17 years of experience in the media, including training with CNN and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington.

GeoPOL styles itself as a "virtual think tank". It has over 38 active members and many non-active readers.
