Europafest international jazz festival comes to Bucharest in May
The Odeon Theater in Bucharest will host 'Europafest' between May 4 and 19 this year, bringing bands and artists from 45 countries to the Romanian capital.
Europafest will include several events, among which a jazz festival and the Jeunesses International Music Competition, boasting bands from the US, Europe, Australia, Japan, Russia, Brazil, Israel.
Bucharest will become the world capital of jazz, with events featuring not only jazz, but also other styles of music from around the world. The jazz festival will take place between May 12 and 19.
Organized by jmEvents, the festival will combine concerts, competitions and workshops, allowing participants to experience fado, blues, Balkan rhythms, Afro-American and even Japanese music.
