Event brings back foretime charm with 'Sindrofie la Sosea' next week-end

An event which will bring back the charm of the days of old in Bucharest will take place on September 18 and 19 in the Kiseleff Park. The event, called 'Sindrofie la Sosea' (Street jamboree), is organized by the Bright Light consortium and is a stage in the Bucharest in one day project.

The event will feature, among others, an antique show, an old clothing display reminding of the Bucharest in the good old says as well as a cooking show with food recipes from the old Bucharest.

The event will start on September 18 at 11,00 hours with a press conference. The entire event will last until 17,00 hours in the first day and will continue during the second day, between 11,00 and 17,00 hours, when some of the events from the previous day will take place.

'Bucharest in one day'  (Bucurestiul intr-o zi) tracks will also be inaugurated during the event. The project is meant to offer more information about the history of famous places and buildings in Bucharest. Read here some of our recent articles about some of these places.
