It mirrors the Swiss watch industry developments over nearly two and a half centuries, as well as illustrating the pace of modernization and the changing tastes of society.
The exhibition is among the events marking 100 years of diplomatic relations between Romania and the Swiss Confederation.
Visitors can see watches that belonged to the great and the good of Romanian history, including King Carol I, Queen Maria, Tudor Arghezi, Nicolae Iorga Armand Calinescu and Gheorghe I. Bratinau.
