Experts to help Romania attract more European funds

10 November 2014

Romania is among the lazy states that attracted less than 60% of the allotted European funds, and an acceleration program is being prepared for these states.

“We’ve identified a series of bureaucratic delays and difficulties and we’ve already asked the unit in charge of Romania to send specialists to work with officials from the ministry in order to integrate the commission’s observations and to accelerate their adoption,” said Corina Cretu, the European Commissioner for Regional Development, cited by local Digi24.

The experts will help Romanian authorities to advance faster in approving and funding projects.
