Extended timetable for Bucharest metro after upcoming Europa League football match

metro.metrorexBucharest's metro will run an extended timetable for the upcoming Steaua Bucuresti against Ajax Amsterdam football match on Thursday, February 21. Trains will run for an extra two hours on the night of the match, February 21 – 22.

The game on Thursday evening is a Europa League last 16 tie between local team Steaua and Dutch team Ajax at the National Arena in Bucharest.

After the match, trains will run approximately every ten minutes, with the last trains starting their runs at 01:00 and leaving the Piata Unirii stations around 01:30.
