EY Romania appoints Andreea Mihnea as new human resources director

Andreea Mihnea (in picture) is EY Romania’s new human resources director, replacing Alexandra Bebu who joined the company’s Talent Management regional team for Central and South-Eastern Europe, the company has recently announced.

Andreea Mihnea has over 10 years of experience in human resources management, previously working for multinational companies such as Tchibo, IBM, or PayPoint. She graduated from the Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures Faculty at the University of Bucharest and is mainly specialized in developing and implementing human resources strategies and processes.

“Developing and implementing human resources strategies for our company in Romania has multiple implications and a major impact on our local business and the 500 employees working in EY’s offices in Bucharest and across the country,” said Bogdan Ion, Country Managing Partner, EY Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transactions and advisory services. The company employees 167,000 people in 700 offices located in 140 countries and had total revenues of some USD 24 billion in the fiscal year ended on June 30, 2012. The company recently re-branded to EY from the previous Ernst & Young.
