F64 expects 23% growth in turnover after opening of 1,300 sqm photo store in Bucharest

Romanian retailer F64, which specializes in selling cameras and photo equipment, has recently opened a 1,300 sqm store in Unirii area of Bucharest. The new store is the biggest such store in Romania, and sells about 5,000 photography-related products. Moreover, the company estimates an annual turnover of EUR 14 million, up 23 percent compared to the one posted last year, and expects the number of clients to reach 10,000 per month.

“With the opening of the largest photo store in southeast Europe, we hope to achieve in 2012 a sales turnover of approximately EUR 17.5 million,” according to Marian Alecsiu, General Manager of F64.

F64 Studio, launched in 2001, ended last year with sales of EUR 11.3 million and a profit of EUR 0.58 million, and currently has 92 employees.
