Famous cardstacker creates Bucharest's iconic buildings out of playing cards within local mall
Landmark buildings in Bucharest can be seen inside a shopping center in Bucharest, where an international artist has re-created these iconic properties out of playing cards.
Bryan Berg, a proffesional „cardstacker”, had re-created the Romanian Athenaeum, the People’s Palace, as well as the mall which hosts the unusual exhibition, Plaza Romania, using playing cards.
The three buildings will be on display inside the mall until May 24, when a knockdown event will take place.
Berg, a Guiness world record for having built the largest building out of playing cards, has used 64,800 freestanding cards for the three buildings in Romania. He does not use any glue, folding, tape and does not bend the cards.
This marked the 10-year anniversary of the Plaza Romania mall in Western Bucharest, as well as the kick – off event for its upcoming renovation.
