Famous English singer Joe Cocker adds Romania to European tour this year
The famous English rock and blues singer Joe Cocker will perform in Romania in August this year. The concert is part of the artist’s Fire it Up tour and will take place at Romexpo in Bucharest, on August 4.
Joe Cocker was born on May 20, 1944 and he’s been an important player in the music industry for over 40 years. The English singer has released over 20 studio albums. The most recent, Fire it Up, which provided the name for the tour, was released in November last year.
Joe Cocker's performance at the Woodstock festival in 1969 is one of the most iconic moments in rock history and he has also received several awards during his career, including a Grammy in 1983 for the hit Up Where We Belong.
Tickets for the August concert cost RON 135, 200, 300, 400, and 750, depending on location, and can be bought from Biletoo stores located in Unirea Shopping Center and Patria Cinema, Eminescu bookshop, Sala Palatului and Biletfan store, or online from Biletoo.ro and Blt.ro.
