Famous Dutch violinist Andre Rieu was so impressed with Romania and Romanian music that he decided to include a Romanian moment in his traditional yearly concerts in Maastricht, his hometown.

Romanian pan flute master Gheorghe Zamfir and tens of folk musicians and dancers joined Rieu and his orchestra on stage, playing traditional Romanian songs and dances. You can watch the video fragment below.

The Dutch artist also had similar Romanian moments in his concerts in Bucharest. Andre Rieu had seven concerts in Romania’s capital this summer, in Constitutiei Square. His concerts drew more than 70,000 spectators.
