FBI confiscates expensive items from Romanian couple’s bunker in the US
The FBI has confiscated the wealth of Romanian couple Diana and Radu Nemes, which were accused of a USD 73 million fraud and extradited to Romania in March.
The Feds found several expensive items in the couple’s bunker in Yelm: 7 kilos of gold coins, 7 cars, designer clothes, 31 leather jackets, 26 designer bags, 115 watches and jewelry, 12 fire arms, 6 TVs and 10 iPads, two silver cups, and the statues of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, made of Swarovski crystals, according to Seattlepi.com.
The American state wil auction off the goods, which, prosecutors say, were bought with defrauded money. Nemes has stolen from the state via a business ring with oil products.
