The Romanian Lottery continues the tradition this year and organizes two special New Year’s Eve draws on December 30.

The players will have double chances to win a big prize at this year’s drawings. With the same ticket, they can participate in the main draw and the extra draw at the Loto 6/49, Joker, Loto 5/40 games, according to the Lottery.

Moreover, for the extra draws, the Romanian Lottery has supplemented the prizes for the Loto 6/49, Joker, and Loto 5/40 games.

However, there will be no double drawings for the Noroc, Noroc Plus, and Super Noroc games.

The grand prize at the Loto 6/49 draws amounts to more than EUR 6.6 million. The Joker game also offers a prize of over EUR 1 million while at Loto 5/40 the prizes amount to EUR 66,500.

The Loto 6/49 lottery’s grand prize was previously won in April this year by a woman from seaside resort Eforie Sud. She won a prize of over RON 13.4 million (some EUR 3 million). The biggest Loto 6/49 prize was won in July 2013 by a player from Galati – almost RON 49 million (more than EUR 11 million).
